The friends singing for tomorrow evening will be held at Bro. Aaron & Sis. Deb Gasser's home at 7:30 PM.

Instruments of Worship will take place in Northeast Ohio near the Rittman, Canaan, Akron, Smithville churches on Saturday, Sept 26. This instrumental music concert will feature musicians with ties to the Apostolic Christian Church from various states whose purpose is to make music with one another in worship and praise to God. This is an open invitation for anyone that is interested to come listen, worship and enjoy a weekend of fellowship in any of the local  churches. The event is planned for 6:30 PM at a local high school - the Norwayne High School Auditorium, 350 S. Main Street, Creston, OH 44217. Overnight accommodations are available. Please contact Sis. For all students in the 7th -12th grades, including those students in the Single Group, the special topic classes will begin again on Sunday, Sept 27, during the morning service. At the conclusion of Sunday School next Sunday, all interested students will reconvene in their respective singing areas for a short introduction to the special topic class and will then be redirected to their special topic classrooms. Students will be separated based on grade and gender, generally with two grade levels per class. Snacks will be provided. The topic of discussion is Sexual Stewardship. Attendance is optional, but encouraged. 

On Sept 27, Apostolic Christian Village will be celebrating its 50th year anniversary. We would like to invite all of you to join us for an open house and 50th anniversary celebration. This is a special opportunity for us to express our heartfelt gratitude for your many years of support, volunteer service, and faithful prayers for the Village. The open house will take place from 2:00 - 3:30 PM. During this time, we will be offering tours of our new Aspen Square facility, renovated skilled nursing rooms, a new courtyard project, and will be showcasing our recently completed independent living units on the north side of our campus, now called Maple Grove Apartments. Light refreshments and a video loop will be available in the Chapel. Please park in the Rittman church parking lot. We are truly grateful for the many ways you have supported Apostolic Christian Village over the past 50 years. We thank God for His faithfulness and for each of you who have been part of this journey. As we look toward the next 50 years, we pray for God's continued guidance and His richest blessings upon ACV and the people we are privileged to serve. 

We are looking for someone to host 3 men with meat canning from Sat, Oct 3 to Sat, Oct 10. If 3 isn't possible, we can split them up. Contact Bro. Chase Gasser with any questions. 

Lord willing, meat canning is scheduled to begin on Monday, Oct 5, with plans of concluding on Thursday, Oct 8. Each day will begin at 6:00 AM and run until approximately 8:30 PM, with a shortened day on Thursday.

Meal times are as follows: 

Breakfast will be served around 7:30 AM

Lunch will be served from 12:00-1:30 PM

Supper will be served from 4:30-6:30 PM

Snacks will be available between meals

The Meat Canning Committee appreciates the wide range of ages helping with the meat canning and soup packing projects but also is responsible for providing a safe environment while properly handling food that will be distributed to those in need. Please help us in this effort by closely supervising your children during these projects so no one is in danger of being injured. The ETR Apologetics Committee is planning its seventh annual Apologetics Conference on Saturday, Nov 14 at Bluffton North. The purpose of the conference is to raise awareness of what apologetics is and why it matters and introduce major apologetic questions. 

This year's theme is "Shining as Lights in a Secular Age". We will explore the rise of secular ideas in our schools, workplaces, and institutions. Our conference teaching will explain the conditions that led to secularism and how we can faithfully live out the Biblical alternative. This secularism has major consequences, and the conference will help us contemplate how a Christian should navigate, engage, and respond. Attendees can participate in group discussions and breakouts that consider how our Christian foundation leads us to respond with truth, love, and respect. We conclude with Biblical direction on the key virtues needed to live as bright Christian lights in a world attempting to establish morality without God. The Denver congregation is thankful to share that the Lord has provided a larger facility for our church. Growth has stretched our current building to capacity and beyond. In 2025, we formed an exploratory committee and early this year a building committee was established to pursue the best option for additional space. After looking at 26 different properties, none of which was suitable, the decision was made to purchase land and build a new building over the next few years. However, the Lord had different plans. Just a few days before we would have committed to the land purchase, an opportunity came to purchase an existing church just 1.5 miles from our current building. Although it is somewhat larger than our anticipated needs, we believe the Lord has provided beyond our ability to know. It even has a space that can be used as an attached fellowship hall. This church is located at 14700 E. Mississippi Avenue, Aurora CO 80012. Our plan is to spend a few more weeks cleaning, painting, and making minor repairs before holding our first service at the new location on October 18, the Lord willing. Our current building has already been sold, and we are currently renting back from the new owners. Over the next few months, we expect to draw up plans to renovate the new building to make it more functional for our use. We expect there will be opportunities for volunteer help in the early part of next year.
