The ETR Apologetics Committee is planning its seventh annual Apologetics Conference on Saturday, Nov 14 at Bluffton North. The purpose of the conference is to raise awareness of what apologetics is and why it matters and introduce major apologetic questions.

This year's theme is "Shining as Lights in a Secular Age". We will explore the rise of secular ideas in our schools, workplaces, and institutions. Our conference teaching will explain the conditions that led to secularism and how we can faithfully live out the Biblical alternative. This secularism has major consequences, and the conference will help us contemplate how a Christian should navigate, engage, and respond. Attendees can participate in group discussions and breakouts that consider how our Christian foundation leads us to respond with truth, love, and respect. We conclude with Biblical direction on the key virtues needed to live as bright Christian lights in a world attempting to establish morality without God. More information can be found this website Elders Teaching Resource and registration can be completed here:  Apologetics Conference Registration

Past Conference Themes have been:

  • Introduction to Apologetics
  • Reliability of the Scriptures
  • Who is God?
  • Does God Matter?
  • I’m Glad You Asked: How Good Questions Turn Doubt to Faith
  • Practical Apologetics: Engaging Others with Truth & Grace
