Vision, Purpose, Mission & Guiding Principles

Our Vision

A body of believers bound together by our love for Jesus Christ and his Word, reflecting God's love, grace, and truth.

Our Purpose

To glorify God by loving as Jesus loves.

Our Four-Pillar Mission

Present the Gospel
To present to the lost the gospel message of salvation based on faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ and a true repentance and conversion (Matt. 28:19-20; Acts 3:19; Eph. 2:8-10)

Nurture the Believer
To teach and nurture the believers toward a sanctified life and to faithfulness by God's grace and through His Word (Col. 1:28; Eph. 4:12, 5:26-27)
Preserve Sound Doctrine
To preserve true doctrine by "contending for the faith" (Jude 3; Acts 20:27; 1 Tim. 4:16)
Serve One Another
To offer loving, humble deeds of service to fellow believers and all mankind in the name of Christ (Gal 5:13; 6:10; Phil. 2:7)

Our Guiding Principles

Jesus Christ's love for us is the foundation & motivation for everything we do.

We seek to be like Jesus in thought, action, & character, & to live the entire counsel of his Word.

We follow the Great Commission, sharing the love & truth of Jesus Christ in our homes, churches, communities, & throughout the world as God calls us to serve.
We disciple & care for one another as a committed church body.

We apply spiritual discernment to our daily decisions based on the Bible, prayer, the Holy Spirit's direction, & Godly counsel from fellow believers.

We see God's value in each individual & joyfully reflect Jesus' peaceful spirit.

We believe the Bible is true, timeless, & inspired of God.

We, as a church, contend for the teachings of Jesus Christ & his Word.

We freely give as we have freely received, recognizing our lives & resources belong to God.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
