We have a carry in meal planned at the Fellowship Hall for today at 5:00 PM with a singing planned for 7:00 PM. Meat and drink will be provided and all are welcome.
The Apostolic Christian Village is excited to announce that several donors have stepped forward to offer a match for the next $270,000 in donations given towards the Aspen Square building campaign. Your generosity has helped to get us up and running with under $1M of debt on a $10M project, and we're hoping to continue to close that gap with this matching opportunity. Donations towards the Aspen Square project will be matched until the match is met or through the end of this calendar year, whichever comes first. At some point in the future, we may take a special collection but, in the meanwhile, donations can be given directly to the Apostolic Christian Village or through the church Nursing Home box. As always, your ongoing support is greatly appreciated.
A testimony and baptism are scheduled for the weekend of Aug 23 & 24 for Tyler Hill. Elder Bro. Todd Graf from Akron plans to be with us.
It is time to plan for our Labor Day Invite-A-Family weekend. Thank you to all who are already participating! There is a sign up on the bulletin board if you would like to join for the Labor Day weekend, even if you did not sign up in the spring. The Single Group invites all local churches for a singing with their guests Sunday, Aug 31, at 7:00 PM here at the church as part of their Labor Day invite. A snack will be served afterwards in the lunchroom.
The Toledo Congregation would like to invite students who will be attending school in the Toledo area, and their families for a picnic after church on September 14 at 4:00 PM. Details for this event will be posted on the bulletin board in the lobby.

Jan Hanzie passed away. The funeral is planned for Saturday morning at 10:30 AM here at the church. The time for calling hours at Murray Funeral Home on Friday have yet to be determined. Bro. Jerry Winkler passed away. Visitation will be today from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 PM at the Auble Gillman Funeral Home and tomorrow (Monday) from 9:30 – 10:15 AM at the Smithville Church. Lois Gasser’s home at 7:30 PM. Because we do not have enough work projects for a large group of people, we will not have an all church worknight this Friday, July 25. However, we do often have projects for smaller groups and would want to encourage anyone that would like to assemble a school group, family or friend group, or an older retired group to please contact Bro. Brian Indermuhle or Bro. Greg Henico, and we could schedule a time that works best for you. Youth Day will take place this upcoming weekend. All students going into the 7th grade and up are invited to participate. A picnic is planned at the Fellowship Hall on Saturday evening, July 26 at 5:15 PM. Students should wear modest school clothes. On Sunday morning, students should meet at the church by 8:45 AM to board buses for the Mansfield Fellowship Hall. Lunch will be provided. Parents can plan to pick up their children at 4:30 PM. Students should wear church clothes. The Sunday School picnic for students in kindergarten through 8th grade is planned for Friday, June 27 at Heritage School. Activities will begin at 5:45 PM and parents can pick their children up at 8:30 PM. The High School Sunday School picnic is planned for Saturday, June 28 at 6:00 PM at the Fellowship Hall. Bro. Jim Zollinger (Silverton) plans on joining us for the evening. All students grades 9- 12 are invited and encouraged to attend. The all church worknight for this Friday evening, June 27 will be canceled because we don't have enough projects to keep a large group of people busy. However, we often have projects that would require a smaller group. If anyone would like to a do a project with a family or friends or a Sunday school class, even older groups, please let Bro. The group traveling to Jamaica has arrived safely after a full day of travel.
