There is a need to replenish the HarvestCall European Church Building Fund. Over the past several years, numerous requests for repairs to aging facilities have consumed the existing fund. The Balingen and Briedenbach Germany congregations both need larger church buildings due to Ukrainian refugees and additional brethren from other impoverished countries that have settled in Germany. This has created a need to replenish this fund. If you feel moved to support this work, donations may be made through the HarvestCall website or by check designated to the European Church Building Fund. The 2026 ballot for church positions includes Church Trustee, Usher, Microphone Operator, Treasurer and Kitchen Committee. It does not include Fellowship Hall Trustee because that open seat will be filled by Canaan. You will also notice that there are two spaces for Treasurer. Based on input from the Church Trustees, previous Treasurers and the Ministers, it was recommended to begin utilizing a Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer. The division of duties and length of alternating terms will be determined once these two Brothers work together. Position descriptions are on the back side of the ballot. Under general qualifications, it clarifies membership in the Rittman church for at least one year before holding a position, as stated in the Church by-laws. Families of all ages are invited to an engaging presentation exploring the role of technology in our daily lives. Together we’ll highlight the positive ways technology can enhance connection, learning, and faith – while also addressing areas where caution is needed. Topics include: • Social Media: Building community and sharing positivity while navigating challenges like comparison and misinformation. • Privacy: Protecting personal information in an increasingly connected world. • Artificial Intelligence (AI): How AI tools can support education and creativity, and where discernment is required. • Other key issues shaping our digital lives. While construction is the obvious activity of this ministry, the primary goal is to share the love of Christ and proclaim the Gospel. • Forty volunteers are needed each week starting January 11, 2026 and continuing through March 27, 2026. ACCFS Courses, a ministry for the ACCA, is a way where meaningful content from ACCFS can be brought to the ACCA community in a thoughtful manner. Courses provides teaching while facilitating community, and it covers an array of topics such as teaching Sunday School, sexual integrity, Biblical decision making, emotional intelligence, grief, and many more. Courses is done in an online format using your hand-held device or computer, and it can be done individually, in a group, or in a mentor/mentee relationship. Courses is where technology, content, and community come together.
