This week is referred to as Passion week. During this week, there are lots of events that happened in Jesus' life. This year, our church is providing an optional method to help remember the suffering and victory of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ during the last week of his life here on earth. We will be sending out texts in eastern standard time. These texts will correlate to what happened during Jesus' time in Jerusalem. These 'live' updates are one interpretation of how the week progressed. Each text will be about a screenful of reading. Be aware that there are 53 events that happen this week and they are at all hours of the day and night. To sign up for these optional Passion Week text notifications, you can text JOIN PASSION to 888-202-2351, which is the church texting number. If you are already signed up for texting with the church announcements, a text will be sent to you with instructions on how to join. For questions, see Bro. Marvin Hartzler.

Our Good Friday service will be held this coming Friday evening at 7:30 PM. This will be a regular service with singing starting at 7:15 PM. As a result, our normally scheduled Wednesday evening service will be canceled this week.

It is time to plan for our 2026 Invite-a-Family Weekend. This is a wonderful time to fellowship with Brethren and Friends from other congregations!  We are planning to have just one event this year.  It is scheduled for the weekend of April 18-19. There is a sign-up list on the bulletin board.  Please sign up by April 5. Supper at 5:30 PM on Saturday, April 18 followed by a 7:15 PM singing at the Fellowship Hall. Annual Fee of $40.00 should be paid to Jackie Gasser.  The committee plans to provide the food. We welcome and encourage additional families to participate!  If you have any questions, contact Sis. Jackie Gasser or Sis. Laurie Winkler.

Lord willing, meat canning is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 6, with plans of concluding on Thursday, April 9. Each day will begin at 6:00 AM and run until approximately 8:30 PM, with a shortened day on Thursday.

Meal times are as follows:

Breakfast will be served around 7:30 AM

Lunch will be served from 12:00-1:30 PM

Supper will be served from 4:30-6:30 PM

The Meat Canning Committee appreciates the wide range of ages helping with the meat canning and soup packing projects but also is responsible for providing a safe environment while properly handling food that will be distributed to those in need. Please help us in this effort by closely supervising your children during these projects so no one is in danger of being injured.

In the gospels of Matthew and Mark, the Lord commissioned his disciples to, “Go ye therefore and teach all nations” and “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature”. Journey Week is a week-long, cross-cultural experience rooted in following Jesus and reflecting his love for all nations. In a world that often feels hurried, fragmented, and inward-focused, Journey week creates intentional space to reconnect our faith with God’s global mission – beginning in our own lives and extending far beyond us.

Upcoming Journey Week opportunities: May 30 – June 6 and November 7 – 14

Journey Week is a partnership with HarvestCall, ACCFS, and international ministry partners in Clarkston, GA.

Thank you notes:

Dear Church family & friends, We would like to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to each of you for the incredible love and support shown to us during the week of hospice care leading up to the loss of our courageous mom and wife. Thank you for the meals that nourished us, the beautiful flowers that brightened difficult days, and the visits, calls, and messages that reminded us we were never alone. We are especially grateful to those who took the time to attend the viewing and funeral—your presence meant more than words can express and was humbling beyond measure. Your kindness, prayers, and compassion have been a true source of comfort and strength during this time of sorrow. We feel so blessed to be part of such a caring and supportive church family. With sincere thanks and love, The Mike Miller family

We would like to thank our church family, friends, and neighbors for the love and support shown to us during our daughter Carol's journey and her passing. We were certainly blessed with cards, food and gifts and your needed prayers over this time and we certainly appreciate all that was done and would thank you for your continued prayers for our families. Our love to all of you. Bro. Ron, Sis. Joann Christian and family
