The Board of Trustees of the Apostolic Christian Village would like to invite all who are interested, to attend the Annual Membership meeting occurring Feb 17 at 7:00 PM in the new Aspen Square Community Room. Topics include updates on the financial status of the Village, campus projects such as Aspen Square and new apartment options in Independent Living, votes to appoint new board members and updates from various department and committee heads. Following the meeting there will be an opportunity to tour the Aspen Square building. We appreciate your ongoing prayers and support as we celebrate 50 years of “serving others with Christlike compassion".
A testimony and baptism is planned for the weekend of Feb 28 & March 1 for Dominic Gasser.
We are developing a medical response team to be available for medical issues occurring at church. Anyone with a medical background who is willing to participate, please sign-up in the Library/First Aid room. Participation would involve being willing to be contacted by the ushers if a need arises. Further information will follow for those who sign up. For questions, please contact Sis. Deanna Lanz or Sis. Juliet Nieman.
The next Silver Lining reader-submitted article is set for May 2026. The topic is: Seeing God's Hand Through Prayer: Reflect on a time you later recognized God's faithfulness in response to prayer (Psalm 66:16-19). Please submit your contribution (length = 600 words or less) on this topic to [email protected] by March 16, 2026. You may email that same address for writing support or clarification.
It is a goal at Apostolic Christian Village (ACV) to help provide education to our church community, as well as the wider community, regarding topics that are especially pertinent to those who are 65+. With this in mind, we are launching a series of lunch and learn opportunities in the community room at ACV. Our first topic is Medicare fraud and will take place on March 13 at 11:30 AM. We would love to have anyone join us that is interested in expanding their knowledge in the area of aging with grace and wisdom. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Dawn Steiner. We request that you register at 330-927-1010. As always, we appreciate your love and support. Click here for more information
